What is a Bernadoodle anyway?Simply put, it’s the combination of a Bernese Mountain Dog and Poodle. The Bernese Mountain Dog was originally bred as a hardworking family farm dog. They are easygoing, intelligent, and extremely loyal dogs. They do however have a very thick luxurious coat that is known to shed, and often suffer from a number of health issues. The poodle is known to be one of the most intelligent dog breeds. Their unique low to non-shedding coat is also desirable to people who have allergies. They typically have longer life expectancy and are considered a very sturdy breed. The Bernedoodle breed is genetically superior due to the purposefulness of breeding two different dog breeds with their own unique benefits. Their offspring receive most of the parents good traits and very few of the bad. This is known as hybrid vigor. Bernedoodles typically have a long soft coat that is low to non-shedding and hypoallergenic. This coat gives them the adorable teddy bear look. They also are more likely to receive the health benefits of the poodle breed. Whether you’re a first time dog owner, seeking a therapy dog, or an experienced dog owner; Bernedoodles are a wonderful choice.

Will my puppy be crate and potty trained? We start working early with each puppy to socialize and familiarize them with a crate, "a safe place". This does not mean they will not fuss, especially during the first few nights. We also work to familiarize our puppies with pottying outside in the grass. Inside the house we train our puppies to use potty training grates rather than using puppy pads. This is not a guarantee, but is done to help give your little one a head start in their training.
